GaokaoHub (domain gaokaohub.com, "we") respects and protects user privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you use this website.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email, phone number and the third-party account identifier you choose (used for sign-in, account security and product notices). If you sign in with WeChat, we may receive your WeChat nickname, avatar and an identifier used to recognize your account.
• Launch notification sign-ups: the email you leave by clicking "Notify me when available" on a paper page for materials not yet on sale (such as full-paper PDFs or multi-year past-paper collections). It is used only to notify you when the item launches, not for other marketing, and nothing is charged automatically. You can contact us at any time to have it deleted.
• Usage data: pages visited, search keywords, subscription / trial status, device and browser information, and click, scroll and on-page interaction data used to improve the experience.
• Exam review data: when you choose to use "Upload my paper", we process the paper files you upload, the text recognized from them, question structure, subject, answer status for each question, reasons for lost points, knowledge point mapping, and the review suggestions and training plans generated from them.
• Payment / subscription information: order numbers, subscription validity period and similar details (we do not store full payment credentials).

2. How We Use Information

• To provide and improve core features such as search, subscriptions and paper review.
• To generate private exam reviews, top fix-first opportunities and training plans based on the exam results you confirm.
• Account security: sign-in verification, risk control and abuse prevention.
• Essential product notices (such as subscription expiry and security alerts).

3. Third-Party Services

• Account and storage services: we use third-party services to verify identity and to store account information, business records and the files you upload.
• WeChat: when you choose to sign in with WeChat, the WeChat Open Platform provides us, with your authorization, an account identifier for sign-in and basic public profile information.
• Website operation services: third-party infrastructure services support the website and request handling, and may involve access logs and device and browser information.
• Product analytics services: we use third-party analytics services to count search keywords, result clicks, completed study steps, and opens and submissions of feedback entry points, and to generate aggregated heatmaps and interaction replays to find interface problems. Text typed into input fields is masked and not used in heatmaps or replays. The text of complaints or wishes that you choose to submit is treated as feedback and enters our product requirements analysis.
• Paper recognition and analysis services: when you choose to upload a paper and start analysis, the file and recognized text may be sent to third-party text recognition or AI providers to identify questions, organize question structure or match knowledge points. We use these services only as needed to complete that exam review.
• AI Problem-Solving Coach: when you ask the AI Problem-Solving Coach a question under a problem, or upload a photo of your scratch work for it to check your reasoning, the text you enter, the photo and the content of that problem are sent to a third-party AI provider (Alibaba Cloud Qwen) to generate a reply. The photo is used only for that one request. We do not keep the photo, and we do not write your questions or photos to logs or databases. The conversation history is stored only in your own browser.
• We process a PDF only when you choose to upload it to the "Paper Review Lab", and, depending on the plan you select, we use third-party services to complete recognition and question organization.

4. Storage and Deletion of Uploaded Papers

• Original paper files are kept in private storage, and access links are valid only for a short time. Metadata embedded in images, such as capture information, is removed during processing.
• Original paper files are deleted automatically 30 days after processing is complete. Structured exam records are kept until you delete that exam or close your account.
• When you delete an exam, we also delete its files, recognized text, question mapping, review suggestions and training plan.
• Uploaded content never enters the public question bank and is not used to train models, unless we obtain your explicit authorization separately.
• Product analytics for exam review records only metadata such as subject, score range, processing status and duration. File names, question text, raw scores and recognized text are never uploaded.

5. Data Security

We restrict access to data and encrypt data in transit. However, no internet transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please keep your account and password safe.
